CREAM Invest

The revitalization of the Baťa complex in Zlín is the sum of many separate projects - those that already exist and those that will significantly revitalize the developing city in the longer term. However, for us, a brownfield is also any individual building that has outlived its function, lost its function or simply does not meet the current requirements in the surrounding context. We are preparing dozens of revitalizations of this type in the Czech Republic.

In commercial buildings, apartment buildings, multifunctional complexes, also in the reconstruction of listed buildings, we invest massively in technologies that are environmentally friendly and in the long term bring financial effect to us and our tenants. Whether it is high-quality thermal insulation or photovoltaics.

Just as important as the building itself is the use of the public space around it. The larger the project, the more <br /> the focus on public space is essential. In our vision, the Baťa site is a popular place not only for the residents of Zlín but also for the whole region. The shape of the public space will thus be determined by expert workshops in cooperation with the city and especially those who will use it. 

We are one of the largest employers in the region; in addition to a number of partial activities through our CREAM Foundation, we have long been cooperating in many areas with Tomáš Bat'a University in supporting gifted students. We also financially support the civic association Za Sklem, which provides help and support to people with autism spectrum disorder and their families across the country. 

With our water management concepts in each of our projects, we go all the way to the edge of the possible. The final implementation then corresponds to the nature of the building and the real efficiency of the technology. Wastewater treatment plants are the basis, and in a multifunctional building, such as an office or hotel, the use of grey water for flushing toilets and rainwater for watering the greenery is standard. 

Every top athlete remembers well the time when they started in the sport. Hundreds and thousands of hours of hard work that could only be balanced by the joy of success. Top-level sport has no problem with funding—unlike regional clubs for young athletes. That is why, in the Zlín region, we have long supported handball, hockey, cycling, and gymnastics at the youth level. Young people here acquire qualities that will benefit them not only in sports: tenacity, determination, competitiveness, and the desire to assert themselves and excel. 

Living Beskydy is our long-term project in the most famous mountains of North Moravia, and it is aimed at supporting sport and tourism. We want to improve services for visitors and bring new job opportunities for locals. In addition to the existing Tee House resort in Čeladná, we are planning other buildings in the longer term that will offer visitors to the mountains not only accommodation but also a service centre for cyclists. On the Living Beskydy project, we are cooperating with the Olympic cross-country cyclist Jaroslav Kulhavy.
